In this golden era dominated by Technology and Innovation, anything is possible. But there’s a kick to it and Hard-Work can be a cheat code. However, like in old times, working hard isn’t enough, Working smart also plays a great role in this modern era driven by Data and Analyzation.
Hard work and Smart-work, both have been a crucial part of my life and career. I still remember my first day at work vividly as if it was just yesterday. At just 17 years of age, I decided to kick-start my career as a Teacher with the aim to educate and share knowledge with all my fellow students. As time passed by and my experience as a Teacher grew, so did my vision and hunger to achieve it anyhow.
Nonetheless, transforming my vision into reality would take a lot of sacrifices and hard work. There were countless hurdles, countless objections and countless misleaders in my way. During those struggling phases of my life, I realized hard work isn’t enough to succeed but twisting and mixing it up with smart work is. As I put a combination of hard work and smart work into action, I began to see, feel and experience positive changes all around. So, I followed the technique further without any hesitation.
Soon, I would find myself designated in a Principal role at just 22 Years of age. During that moment, I became the youngest Principal in Nepal serving its duty at Praxis International Academy. Thus, I was treated, pampered and honoured with countless Awards mentioning the title, “Youngest Principal of Nepal”. I followed up on the success by making Praxis International Academy win many Educational as well as ECA Awards.
But there was still a fire burning inside me to achieve more whilst contributing to Nepalese education. I realized, that all of my achievements were thanks to practicality, hard work and smart work and saw how students at colleges were taught. This is when I wanted to transform the way of Nepalese Education System that was outdated. With the aim to transform this and I set a vision with no horizon. This is when Manaslu World College was established under the wings of the Manaslu Team of Entrepreneurs Pvt. Ltd.
Since the first day of Manaslu World College, I started raising it as my own child. Rather than making students focus on just books and theory, I took a different approach and encouraged the management team to similarly focus strongly on ECA and Practical knowledge. The idea was simply to sharpen the skills and knowledge the students were gifted with.
The aftermath of such a brave decision came resulted in wonders. Our students didn’t just excel at their studies but were sharpened with real-life mattering skills and technicality as well. To this date, we follow the same ideology and motives. With our unwavering aim, we are devoted to uplifting each and every student and making them tailored-ready to kick-start their career.
“Think Global, Act Local”, is the mantra I followed since the beginning of my career. I believe, that with a strong determination to achieve your aim and vision, nothing can stop you to score your greatest goal. But never forget to Work hard and Work smart.
